POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Description Provide service in tire assemblies, oil and lube, general maintenance, and inspections. This position will provide these services with optimum quality and efficiency. This position will also be responsible for maintaining interior and exterior building and grounds appearance as well as inventory organization. Position Responsibilities Tire Assembly Service Perform mounting, balancing, rotation, repair, and TPMS services with precise quality and timeliness. Tire Assembly Service will be performed according to the policies and procedures set forth by Reeves Tire & Automotive ownership and management as well as adhering to manufacturer and industry standards. Oil & Lube Service Perform oil change and lube service with precise quality and timeliness. Oil and Lube service will be performed according to the policies and procedures set forth by Reeves Tire & Automotive ownership and management as well as adhering to manufacturer and industry standards. General Maintenance Service will be performed on general maintenance items including but not limited to: batteries, lights, wipers, etc. These types of services will also be performed according to the policies and procedures set forth by Reeves Tire & Automotive ownership and management as well as adhering to manufacturer and industry standards. Other Services Provide other automotive services for which you are qualified to perform under the direction of Reeves Tire & Automotive ownership and management. Inspections Complete and thorough inspections will be conducted according to the direction, policies, and procedures of Reeves Tire & Automotive ownership and management. The goal is “not to miss” what is already in the shop. It is the responsibility of the Tire / Lube / Inspector Technician to inspect and provide communication concerning all recommendations to provide a complete vehicle experience. All recommendations must be presented to the Service Sales Manager within the first 15 minutes of shop time. The goal is to do the work today to maximize shop production opportunities. All recommendations will be given to the Service Sales Manager while the vehicle is in the shop. At no time will a recommendation be “an after thought”. Quality Work Tire / Lube / Inspector work will be done with optimum quality. Thorough work must be done to ensure complete solution to vehicle concerns/needs. Procedural, intricate work, and attention to detail must be performed to ensure the vehicle leaves the shop with complete solution. Timely Work Tire / Lube / Inspector work will be performed in a timely manner. Time is valuable to the customer, technician, and Reeves Tire. Efficiency in time is priority. Reporting Work Complete details of work performed, product used, and additional recommendations must be written on the work order and communicated with Service Sales Manager. Training & Mentoring Tire / Lube / Inspector Technicians will take part in training as set forth by ownership and management of Reeves Tire & Automotive. Technicians of this position description will either have obtained or be working to obtain Missouri State Inspection licensing. Cross training to other positions may be presented and implemented to move to next level technician status with Reeves Tire & Automotive Company. Continuously train personally to maintain and keep polishing/developing technician skill set with the goal to always provide optimum quality work in an efficient manner.

Interior / Exterior

Building & Grounds Maintenance It is the responsibility of Tire / Lube / Inspector Technicians to ensure their work area is kept picked up, organized, and clean. Equipment must be maintained with calibration, and cleanliness to ensure optimum performance. Additional maintenance work will be performed to keep a neat, inviting, organized, and functioning facility. Company Policies / Procedures Strict compliance to all company policies and procedures must be adhered to. Safety policies must be followed in every instance to ensure a protective and injury free work environment. Employee Guidebooks detailing procedures and policies are available for employee education and must be strictly abided by.
