Duties Greet customers and assess their service needs, providing detailed explanations of services required. Create and maintain accurate service orders, documenting all customer interactions and vehicle information. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs. Provide estimates for repairs and services, utilizing knowledge of auto estimating practices. Maintain an organized workflow by prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer requests simultaneously. Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and any additional services needed. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Skills Proficient in automotive repair knowledge, including air brake systems, shocks, struts, brake repair, and general vehicle maintenance. Experience in service writing with a strong understanding of the service technician role. Familiarity with auto estimating processes to provide accurate quotes for services. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Strong sales aptitude to promote additional services based on customer needs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
