Job Summary:

The Shop Technician is responsible for the maintenance and daily operations of the program and fleet vehicles, including troubleshooting, tire and oil changes, and basic vehicle repairs. He or she will also assist with the staging of vehicles for programs, as well as parking vehicles in storage. He or she is a champion the company’s Mission and Vision and model the company Values.

What you will do:

Responsible for maintaining the fleet of Mustang GT, Mustang EcoBoost, Mustang Dark Horse, Mustang GT500, Focus, Fiesta, Heritage and other Support Vehicles Required to complete maintenance on engines, brakes, transmission, clutches, tires, etc. Required to troubleshoot concerns with guests about issues they may have with the cars Computer literate with an emphasis on the

NET and Ford IDS program for repairs and procedures Responsible for tracking parts used on any and all work performed Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of FPRS East, its products and programs Protect the moral, legal and financial well-being of Ford Performance Racing School Continually work with other team members new and better ways of doing business with an emphasis on safety, accountability, leadership, and guest service Perform any other job duties as assigned by management for maintaining the fleet of Mustang GT, Mustang GT350, Mustang GT500, Focus, Fiesta, and other Support Vehicles Required to complete maintenance on engines, brakes, transmission, clutches, tires, etc. Required to troubleshoot concerns with guests about issues they may have with the cars Computer literate with an emphasis on the

Requirements:

Knowledge and Skills you

Possess:

• 5 years’ experience as a mechanic working in a fully functional mechanic shop High School Graduate Ability to interact well with customers and fellow employees Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks in the most productive and/or appropriate manner Must be able to make quick, sound decisions based on facts Demonstrate outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills Ability to utilize creative thinking in all situations Must be able to drive a manual transmission Graduate of the Ford Asset Program preferred

Expectations:

Adhere to an event-driven work schedule

• primarily Monday thru Friday with some evenings, weekends, and holidays required Adhere to all company policies and procedures Be efficient with time and demonstrate time management skills allowing work to get done in a timely manner Demonstrate an ability to perform quality work with no errors in a timely manner Show respect for others Maintain a positive attitude Maintain current valid driver’s license, clean driving record, pass background and drug screening
