Job Summary:

The Shop Technician is responsible for the maintenance and daily operations of the program and fleet vehicles, including troubleshooting, tire and oil changes, and basic vehicle repairs. He or she will also assist with the staging of vehicles for programs, as well as parking vehicles in storage. He or she is a champion the company’s Mission and Vision and model the company Values.

Responsible for maintaining the fleet of Mustang GT, Mustang EcoBoost, Mustang Dark Horse, Mustang GT500, Focus, Fiesta, Heritage and other Support Vehicles Required to complete maintenance on engines, brakes, transmission, clutches, tires, etc. Required to troubleshoot concerns with guests about issues they may have with the cars Computer literate with an emphasis on the

Knowledge and Skills you

Possess:

  • 5 years’ experience as a mechanic working in a fully functional mechanic shop High School Graduate Ability to interact well with customers and fellow employees Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks in the most productive and/or appropriate manner Must be able to make quick, sound decisions based on facts Demonstrate outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills Ability to utilize creative thinking in all situations Must be able to drive a manual transmission Graduate of the Ford Asset Program preferred
