Laser Guided Vehicle (LGV)

Maintenance Technician Location:

Winston Salem, NC Pay:

$28 to $36/hour

Experience:

3 years industrial and manufacturing maintenance experience. Experience with Laser Guided Vehicle and/or Automated Guided Vehicles is required. 1 to 3 years of PLC troubleshooting experience.

Education:

High school diploma or GED.

Contract Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 2pm to 11pm Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Laser Guided Vehicle (LGV) Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on required equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager. Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to the equipment and controls. Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phases systems. Perform equipment installation and welding. Records work done on forms provided. Follows OSHA and company safety guidelines. Identifies parts needed and maintains an inventory of parts in the stockroom. Performs equipment changeovers.

Position Requirements:

Maintenance troubleshooting experience. Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Rigging. Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems. Fluent Troubleshooting Techniques. Good Machine Shop skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
