Full Job Description Job Summary:
Independence Mazda is seeking an Entry Level Technician to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry. As an Entry Level Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. This is an individual contributor role, providing a great opportunity for growth and development in the automotive industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $30,000 to $75,000 per year, paid biweekly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including 5 day work week, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues Perform quality checks and ensure repairs are done efficiently and accurately Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and proper manner Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding necessary repairs and timeline for completion Continuously update knowledge and skills by attending training and workshops as needed Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in automotive repair or maintenance preferred, but not required ASE certification or technical training a plus Solid mechanical and technical knowledge Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
