Responsibilities

Service Technician:

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency andaccuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety orservice work is required. Notify service advisor immediately ifadditional work outlined is not needed or required Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot becompleted within the time promised Document work performed Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the testtechnician Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean Keep shop area neat, clean and be able to account for alldealership-owned tools at all times Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations,such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes Must follow all company safety policies and procedures andimmediately report any and all accidents to a manager orsupervisor Qualifications/Requirements

  • Service Technician:

    Automotive Service Technician experience required Diesel Technician experience is a plus ASE Certification required GM Certification is preferred, but other certificationsaccepted Ability to read and comprehend instructions andinformation ASE certification is preferred Proven Fixed Right Survey Scores Valid driver’s license and good driving record

  • CDL is aplus!
