Garris Road, Wilmington, NC 28403 Experienced Motorcycle Service/Parts Manager We’re looking for a Motorcycle tech to join our team! Dream of moving up into management? Here’s your chance. The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and BMW Motorrad experience preferably but not required! A newly built state-of-the-art motorcycle shop in Wilmington, North Carolina, servicing BMW Motorcycles and other motorcycle brands. We service bikes from Charleston to Charlotte and Raleigh to Norfolk! Technicians with Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, KTM, Harley Davidson, Triumph, Suzuki, Aprilia, Indian, Victory experience and more are welcome! Qualifications and Job Requirements MMI or equivalent motorcycle certifications are preferred BMW Motorrad Experience Preferred Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with the dealership. Test-drive units and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications with proper documentation. High school diploma or equivalent. B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve Enjoy working in a dynamic environment Teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work area.
