Weyerhaeuser is currently recruiting for experienced DieselMechanics at the Grifton, NC Lumber Mill. Hours will be 7:00am to5:30pm

Key Functions:
Perform service/preventative maintenance,run inspections, diagnostics tests, and repair/maintain mobileequipment and vehicles for lumber manufacturing facility. Inspect,maintain, troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in diesel/gasengines, air brake equipment, running gear and hydraulics. Rivet,bolt, glue, braze or weld to fabricate, modify or designreplacement parts for equipment. Fabricate, cut, shape, and performfinish operations using various types of materials. Performperiodic service / PMs on forklifts, front-end loaders, log movingequipment, pick-ups, etc. High School diploma/GED 18 years of ageor older Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record, whichmust be maintained Minimum 2 years heavy mechanical repairexperience,OR education/work experience equivalent Experiencereading and interpreting schematics and parts breakdown Basiccomputer skills Ability to perform essential job functions, such aslifting up to 50 pounds occasionally; stooping, bending, kneeling,crouching, crawling, balancing, and climbing; and exposure toequipment that intensifies the heat factor on an occasional basisAbility to complete required paperwork Proven ability to work underlimited supervision Legally eligible to work in the United Stateswithout sponsorship Able to work any shift, weekends, overtime,holidays as needed Able to complete mobile equipment training
Required Basic Competencies:
