Job Overview:

TheShop Foreman / Lead Technician is responsible for maintainingworkflow and work distribution among technicians. This role worksclosely with the Service Manager to oversee the quality of work onour guests vehicles and shop efficiency. We are looking fortechnicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat and have a positiveattitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek outsolutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’sright for our guest. Responsibilities include, but are not limitedto: Work with the service department to distribute work totechnicians Manage and oversee individual technician workloads andoverall workflow in the service area Oversee technician teamprogress through internal training requirements and coachtechnicians to prepare for certifications Train and mentor newtechnicians Help other technicians diagnose and repair vehicleswhen necessary (i.e., misdiagnosis, employee development, etc.)Conduct quarterly technician performance touchpoints to establishand monitor the progress of career goals and employee performanceManage technician team-building opportunities Educate technicianteam to uphold brand and quality standards of the team totroubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively Manage andmaintain shop supplies and equipment Monitor bulk fluid levelsMonitor shop efficiency through technician hours reports and ticketaudit process Manage scan tool subscriptions Distribute shophousekeeping tasks among all technicians by promoting our highstandards of safety, cleanliness, and organization Manage andoversee technician work schedule Enforce safety regulations andprotocols Work closely with the service department and effectivelycommunicate customer concerns and assist with customer complaintresolution when necessary

Qualifications Qualifications:

Positiveattitude and a desire to serve guest 7 years of experience as anautomotive technician/mechanic Excellent automotive diagnosticskills A strong investment in tools Ability to Flag 30 hours perweek – depending on shop needs

ASE A1-A8

Certifications required,Master L1 preferred Capable of diagnosing and repairing allmakes/models of vehicles Meet or exceed hourly goals Aptitude forlearning additional skills and processes Professional appearanceand strong communication A desire for long-term career development

Physical Requirements:

Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 poundsBe able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head Workin tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair Have theneeded dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools Walk/standfor the majority of their workday Drive manual transmissionsvehicles Efficiently navigate a computer Additional InformationChristian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simplepremise of providing precision auto repair with transparency,integrity and a philosophy of people first.
