Specialized Off-Road Vehicle Technician TEQ Customs 10315 Chapel Hill Road, Morrisville, NC 27560 Job Summary If you’re looking for a position as an automotive tech that’s more than repetitive repairs and oil changes, TEQ Customs might be the place for you. We do things a little differently. First, we don’t believe in going into crippling debt to do your job. As such, our shop provides all the tools you’ll need. All we ask is you take care of them. We also pay hourly. We don’t believe you should suffer if the shop has a slow day. As an install tech for TEQ Customs, we turn dreams into reality. Our shop focuses on modifying off-road and overland vehicles, including Toyotas, Jeeps, Broncos, trucks, and more. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for installing various aftermarket parts and preforming basic services on customer vehicles alongside other install techs and our Install Manager. Common jobs include, but are not limited to, Suspension Installs Aftermarket Bumper Installs Roof Rack Installs Drivetrain Services Wheels and Tires Tire Clearancing Electrical and Lighting Installs Alignments An ideal candidate should… Have 1+ years general automotive repair experience Have a basic understanding of 12v electronics Be able to work efficiently as part of a team Take pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace Be able to juggle tasks and assist where needed. Be driven and hardworking Bonus points if you have.. ASE Certifications Extensive electrical experience 2+ years of experience with Toyota, Lexus, or Jeep platforms Experience modifying vehicles Engine swap experience Fabrication experience Experience with Hunter Alignment or Road Force Balance Machines This is a full time position, Monday-Friday.
