Automotive Electrical Technician Position Available In Watauga, North Carolina

Automotive Electrical Technician Elk River Contracting Company LLC Deep Gap, NC 28618 We are looking for an experienced 12 Volt electrician at a Deep Gap, NC manufacturing facility. The right candidate will need to have the experience necessary to work autonomously. This position will quickly grow into management if the candidate is willing and able to complete excellent work and shows the necessary leadership skills to lead a team of electricians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair 12-volt electrical systems in custom emergency vehicles.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Replace faulty wiring, switches, relays, and other electrical components.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical systems preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with 12-volt systems in automotive or emergency vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems, wiring, and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.

Full-time Pay:

$22.00 – $28.00 per hour
