Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable PropertyManagement Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role,you will be responsible for performing routine and emergencymaintenance tasks, ensuring that our properties remain in excellentcondition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background ingeneral maintenance, a customer-focused attitude, and the abilityto work independently as well as part of a team. The MaintenanceTechnician is responsible for promptly responding to all requestsfor the repair and maintenance of all equipment, grounds andbuildings. This position rotates on call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance:

Perform regular inspections andmaintenance of property systems, including HVAC, plumbing,electrical, and mechanical systems.

Repairs:

Address and resolve maintenance issues reported bytenants or identified during inspections. This includes tasks suchas fixing leaks, repairing appliances, and addressing electricalproblems.

Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to emergency maintenancerequests, including after-hours calls as needed.

Property Upkeep:

Ensure that common areas and individual unitsare clean, safe, and well-maintained. This includes tasks such aspainting, drywall repair, and landscaping.

Vendor Coordination:

Coordinate with external contractors andvendors for specialized repairs or services, ensuring work iscompleted to satisfaction and in a timely manner.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenanceactivities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.

Compliance:

Ensure all maintenance work complies with localbuilding codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent service to tenants andrespond to their maintenance requests professionally andcourteously.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training orcertifications in maintenance or a related field is a plus. 2+ years of experience in maintenance, with a focus on propertymanagement or residential/commercial buildings preferred. Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including HVAC,plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Proficiency in using various tools and equipment related tomaintenance and repair. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issuesefficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Availability for on-call emergency maintenance asneeded.
