The Trailer Technician will work with various equipment, including hydraulic systems, air brakes, reefer units and other essential components of tractor-trailers. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including brake repair and hydraulic system servicing. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient repairs. Conduct inspections of trailers to identify potential safety hazards or maintenance needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Operate heavy machinery as required for trailer repairs. Requirements Proven experience in commercial repair or a related field, with a focus on trailer maintenance preferred. Proficiency in using power tools and welding techniques. Knowledge of hydraulics, air brake systems, and general trailer mechanics. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor tasks Have experience in Tru Tech Must be flexible when emergency breakdowns occur on nights and weekends.
