We are seeking a dedicated andexperienced Trailer Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance,repair, and inspection of various types of fleet vehicles includingtractors, trailers, converter dollies, and light duty vehicles. Youwill also be responsible for conducting oil changes, equipmentinspections, and maintaining an accurate inventory of parts. Thisrole demands a high level of technical expertise, a commitment toquality, and a deep understanding of safety standards andregulations.

Responsibilities:

Perform regular preventativemaintenance inspections on all fleet vehicles including tractors,trailers, converter dollies, and light duty vehicles. Diagnose andrepair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and efficientmanner. Maintain an accurate inventory of parts and ensure propercharge out of parts to work orders. Comply with all FMCSRs, DOTCompliance, and OSHA requirements. Perform oil changes, brakeinspections, and other routine maintenance tasks. Use maintenancesoftware to create and complete work orders. Work in variousweather conditions and lift heavy objects as part of daily duties.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. 2 years ofschool and 2 years of experience or 4 years of experience in fleetmaintenance and repair.

Medium / Heavy

Duty truck technicaltraining. ASE certification required. Brake InspectorCertification. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more. Current validdriver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have own tools.

Ability to work in inclement weather conditions outside. Knowledgeand understanding of FMCSRs and DOT Compliance. Knowledge of OSHArequirements. Air brake certification or ability to get acertification. Experience performing inspections on all fleetvehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, & lightduty vehicles. Experience with electrical diagnostics, repair, andreplacement. Experience with physical parts purchasing, inventory,receiving, and proper charge out of parts to work orders.

Maintenance Software experience. Creating and completing workorders. Quality preventative maintenance inspections. Oil changes.

Equipment inspections. Tractors. Trailers. Converter dollies.

Lift-gates. Light duty vehicles. Requires 5 years of experience.
