In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while managing their automotive needs. You will be responsible for understanding customer concerns, recommending appropriate services, and ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact through service completion. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate automotive services, including oil changes, vehicle maintenance, and repairs. Maintain thorough knowledge of dealership services and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. Prepare accurate estimates for services and repairs, utilizing auto estimating skills. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed of progress. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to service or repairs in a courteous manner. Document all service interactions in the system for accurate record-keeping and follow-up. Promote dealership offerings and upsell additional services when appropriate. Qualifications Previous experience in automotive service or sales is preferred. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes, including air brake systems and auto body repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with auto service management systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are advantageous. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
