Service Technician Position Available In Albany, New York

Service Technician Northway Toyota 737 New Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110 Northway Toyota is seeking motivated individuals with entry level automotive technician experience to service new and used cars at our busy dealership located in Latham, NY! We offer an excellent compensation package with competitive pay rates and a great work environment. Our technicians perform all warranty and non-warranty inspections, and maintenance and repair work. Six months to one year experience as a technician, preferably in a dealership setting. Positions pay based on flat rate hours and weekly incentives as well. Hourly rate listed is base but with incentives and flat rate pay, will receive considerably more pay. Basic knowledge of vehicle electronic components, theory, systems, and testing tools and procedures Basic automotive mechanical ability Knowledge of the proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, along with using tools and equipment safely Basic writing skills (to record work performed and recommended future service requirements on repair orders) and the ability to read and interpret repair orders Reliable with good attendance, work ethic, and time management skills Valid, insurable driver’s license You will be trained on installing accessories and performing new vehicle pre-delivery inspections, along with prep work. Technicians are trained to maintain a current knowledge of vehicles and their service needs as described in manuals and technical bulletins, along with attending regular factory-sponsored trainings.
