Elm Chevrolet is a customer-focused automotive service center dedicated to providing high-quality repairs and maintenance with exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a personable and knowledgeable Service Advisor/Writer to join our team and help ensure our customers receive the best possible service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs. Communicate effectively with customers to determine their automotive concerns and explain the necessary repairs and services. Prepare detailed service estimates and provide clear explanations of work required. Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow in the shop. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs. Maintain customer records, including detailed notes on services performed and customer preferences. Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently. Utilize computer systems to manage appointments, update records, and process transactions.

Requirements:
BASIC COMPUTER SKILL

Must have basic working knowledge of computers.

Valid Driver’s License:

Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Automotive Knowledge:

Basic understanding of automotive systems and repairs is required to effectively communicate with customers and technicians.

Customer Service Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling, record-keeping, and processing transactions.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

Previous experience in a service advisor/writer role or in a customer service position within the automotive industry is required.
