Port Matilda, PA Join Our Team Absolute Auto Repairs and Sales, a trusted family-owned auto repair shop with over 17 years of service in Port Matilda, PA. We are expanding and seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician. If you’re passionate about delivering top-notch automotive services and thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment, we’d love to meet you! Our current business hours are (4 /10 hr days) Tuesday – Friday, 7am-6pm with about one hour lunch brake.

Job Responsibilities:

Look over every vehicle (digital inspection with pictures and notes on a tablet) from bumper to bumper to see if vehicle has any upcoming problems, recommended services or if its in good condition. Must be able to use a tablet (iPad). Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions efficiently. (Ability to perform diagnostics on common issues like wheel bearing noise and suspension concerns is required). Top candidate should be able to diagnose most of the electrical issues and be able to read and understand a wiring diagram. Hourly can be higher than advertised. Inspect vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs. Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications:

Must be able to properly and efficiently diagnose vehicle problems. Provide proper diagnosis/recommendations in writing MUST be able to lift 50lbs or more. High school diploma or equivalent. ASE Certifications or Equivalent. Automotive Training Courses. PA Emissions and Safety Licenses. Valid Driver’s License. 5 plus years as Professional Automotive Mechanic/Technician. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components. Attention to detail is a must! Excellent problem-solving skills. Good communication skills. Ability to work as a productive team member.

Position Details:

4-day work week, Tue-Fri 7am – 6pm, with lunch break. Full-time position with approximately 40 hours per week. Competitive pay based on skill and efficiency. Production bonuses available after 90 days. Paid vacation and paid holidays. Paid Holidays after 90 days of employment. Additional benefits available.
