Heavy Truck Body Shop Technician Trux LLC Union City, PA 16438 Trux LLC is a fabrication and heavy truck body shop working on heavy duty trucks and truck equipment based out of Union City, PA. Our fast-paced shop and office is looking for an experienced Heavy Truck Body Shop Technician. FULL-TIME
in-person, hourly position – pay based on experience Industry Leading Benefits for employees. 401(K) with employer match Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Voluntary supplemental benefits (accidental, hospitalization, dental, etc) Holiday pay PTO (paid time off) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Painting of heavy trucks, truck parts and related equipment Preparing and prepping items to be painted General repairs as well as heavy collision work Sandblast truck frames and equipment Effectively sand, prep and -paint trucks, parts, truck bodies and related items Responsible for cleaning paint booth,workstations and equipment after each use Completing each repair/paint job in a timely, efficient and professional manner Complete other duties as assigned Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required Minimum 3 years in automobile or heavy truck body shop setting required Experience with automotive or heavy truck painting preferred Must have ability to work off ladders Minor welding and fabrication work – experience sandblasting preferred Must be willing to own or purchase the appropriate tools for prep work, basic hand and air tools Proven attention to detail and organization skills Ability to meet tight deadlines Strong communication skills Self-motivated and the ability to work independently and as a team Physical Requirements Ability to work with a variety of products Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to climb on and off equipment, bend, kneel, reach, stand and squat Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required Ability to work from a step ladder
