Job Description
•The employee will inspect, diagnose, adjust, and repair trucks and diesel engines.•The employee will work at the truck repair shop/facility with heavy-duty high-performance diesel engines: Detroit

; Cummins X15.The employee will inspect cylinders and pistons for any defects; check the crankshaft and camshafts for damage or wear; examine valves and valve guides thoroughly; inspect oil andwater pumps, as well as fuel injectors, for proper operation and damage.
The employee will replace injectors and injector cups in the cylinder head as needed; replace the camshaft and camshaft bearings. After replacement, he will adjust the clearance betweenthe engine gears; replace the cylinder head; perform cylinder head rebuild (replacement of guide bushings and valve seats of the cylinder head using liquid nitrogen).In addition, the employee will inspect the engine block and cylinder head for microcracks and damage to detect cracks in the oil passages, fill the water jacket with water and applycompressed air into the oil passages, to observe for air bubbles in the water, which indicate cracks in the oil passages (if oil leaks into the engine cooling system, this also signals a fault);perform grinding on the cylinder block and cylinder head surfaces, inserting thin, cylindrical sleeves into the engine block’s bore to repair or restore the cylinder’s bore size and replacepistons as necessary; inspect connecting rods for any damage or wear; replace the crankshaft and its bearings.
