Position SummaryThis position is responsible for residential and commercial pumpingand disposal of non-hazardous waste and has direct contact withWind River Environmental customers. Responsibilities includeoperating a company service truck and driving to various locationsto pump septic tanks.

  6AM Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow safetyrules and exercise safe work practices in accordance with WRE andDOT requirements.
• Prepare for each service job to maximizeefficiency (get truck ready, tools, etc.) by following dailypre-trip and post-trip maintenance (check fluids, tires, supplies
• Perform customer service interaction when on work site to ensurecustomer satisfaction
• Observe and note defective septic componentsystems, adverse buildup or hazards on the work order and provideany recommend maintenance or service to customer
• Completion andsubmission of quote and service paperwork to management in a timelymanner, if required
• Respond to trouble/emergency calls in atimely manner
• Discuss and recommend adequate maintenance servicefrequency with the customer
• Follow all Wind River Environmentalservice protocols Other duties as assigned by management WorkEnvironment
• You are regularly exposed outside weather conditionsand non-hazardous fumes
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Interaction with customers Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policiesand procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, maps and road signs.
• Ability to speak, cooperateand communicate effectively with customers, co-workers andmanagement.
• Ability to work independently and manage pressure tomeet deadlines.
• Basic computer literacy including email andinternet skills.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’slicense with an acceptable driving record
• Must hold a Class A orB CDL with ability and willingness to obtain a tanker endorsementif requested
• No restrictions (must be able to drive manualtransmission)
• At least 21 years of age
• At least one year ofprofessional commercial driving experience (post-school)
• Abilityto successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification,physical exam and road exams
• Must be able to operate in adrug-free workplace
• Must be able to meet physical demandsevaluation
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptabledriving record
