Job Description
Quick Lube Tech B&B FORD, Inc. Barnwell, SC 29812 The job requirements are, but not limited too: Performing basic maintenance on a range of vehicles. Completing a digitial MPI with recommendations for needed repairs. Completing software updates and recalls. Keep work station clean at all times. Document and report on items completed and in need of further service via repair order and dealer computer system Complete and attend manufacturer training as required Keep customers car condition clean of oil and tech prints using any mats and protective equipment provided. Summary As an Express Service Technician, you will be integral to our automotive service team, focusing on vehicle maintenance and diagnostics. Reporting to the Service Manager, your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with hand and power tools will ensure efficient service delivery. Your premium experience in automotive repair and dealership settings will enhance our customer service efforts. Additionally, your relevant skills in communication, heavy lifting, and sales will contribute to a seamless service experience, helping us maintain high standards and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Strong automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge Proficiency in using hand and power tools Experience with vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and tire service Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks Excellent communication and customer service skills Previous experience as a service technician or in automotive repair preferred Familiarity with sales processes in an automotive environment
