Automotive Painter & Wheel Technician- (Bluffton, SC) 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars Bluffton, SC 29910 Xcite Automotive is seeking Automotive Painter & Wheel Technician for our dealership partners in Hardeeville, SC! As an Automotive Painter & Wheel Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the appearance of vehicles by applying high-quality paint finishes and repairing or refurbishing wheels. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaves our shop in top-notch condition. The ideal candidate will have close to 5 of experience in Reconditioning Painting, with the ability to repair small dings, scratches, and light exterior repairs. Candidate will be required to travel to Columbia, SC for work orders. You will earn an annual salary of $65,000, pay is based on experience + bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces. Prepare vehicles for primer and paint application Mix and apply paint using spray guns to achieve a flawless finish Use specialty painting techniques on the vehicle Inspect and repair damaged wheels, including refinishing and straightening Inspect final prep and paint application Manage and control materials and inventory Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and customer expectations What you need: Proven experience as an automotive painter and wheel technician or in similar roles. Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials. Familiarity with wheel repair techniques, including polishing, straightening, and refinishing. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
