Lube Technician – Trucks and Construction Equipment 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Moncks Corner, SC 29461 We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lube Technician in Ladson, SC. As a Lube Technician, you will primarily be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance of equipment and trucks for a construction fleet. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge with experience in oil change services and basic automotive diagnostics. Three (3) or more years of relevant experience is preferred. All experience levels will be considered. Must have strong work history with good references. Starting pay is based on experience/training and will be discussed at the time of interview. Responsibilities:
Perform routine PM tasks and fuel heavy equipment for construction fleet. Conduct fluid level checks and top off as necessary, including engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid. Inspect equipment and vehicles for any potential issues or needed repairs Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Collaborate with other technicians to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely and efficient manner. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to assist in basic automotive repairs. Utilize computer- based maintenance scheduling software. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Qualifications:
Strong experience in oil change services and basic automotive diagnostics Familiarity with CAT, John Deere and other heavy equipment Proficient in using hand tools related to automotive repair A solid understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology Ability to align various components of vehicles as needed during service tasks.
