POSITION SUMMARY
Perform maintenance & repairs of BJU vehicles and equipment
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain various makes and models of vehicles
Diagnose & repair mechanical and electronic symptoms
Fleet vehicle maintenance experience helpful
Gasoline, diesel, small engine, & trailer experience preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Perform all types of equipment and vehicle maintenance including but not limited to oil changes, powertrain, drivetrain, suspension, tire, transmission, brakes, differential, and HVAC service.
Diagnose, locate, and repair electrical, electronic and computerized vehicle systems.
Diagnose, repair and replace braking systems, drive trains, and transmissions
Professional in appearance and presentation
Effective in oral and written communication CDL (Bus & Tractor/Trailer) preferred; ASE certification helpful Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, online service manuals, online parts acquisition
OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Exposed to marked changes in temperature
Work outdoors in varying weather
