Automotive Service Technician JTs Kia of Columbia on Greystone Columbia, SC 29210 Join our growing team! We have moved into our newly renovated, state of the art facility. We are expanding and looking for quality technicians!

Automotive Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

An Automotive Technician is largely responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle engine systems. Automotive Technicians may have the following duties and responsibilities: Repair brake and steering systems. Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems. Replace or repair engines and mechanical components. Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed. Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling. Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations. Maintain a clean, safe working environment. Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed. Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives.

Automotive Mechanic Qualifications:

• Minimum Two Years Automotive Technician Experience Required
• ASE Certification or KIA/Hyundai Certification preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Have tools necessary to perform automotive repairs and diagnosis

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$16.67 – $50.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
