Mobile Service Technician G. Stone Motors Inc 36 Boardman Street, Middlebury, VT 05753 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive maintenance and mechanical repair. This role requires a commitment to quality service and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Mobile Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customer’s vehicles operate safely and effectively. Duties Perform on-site routine maintenance and repairs of customer vehicles, including oil changes, recalls, software updates, drivability troubleshooting, and automotive concern diagnostics. Work with clients to schedule and coordinate mobile service operations including fleet maintenance and on site repairs. Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide detailed auto health reports and recommended services based on mileage and engine hour intervals. Maintain a clear path of communication with our service team and our customers. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. Qualifications 3-5 years of proven experience in automotive repair is required. Familiarity with fleet maintenance and mobile service operations is key. Experience working directly with customers is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose problems accurately. Proficiency in computer operations, scan tool, software downloads, and general digital service tooling is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment. Valid driver’s license is required; DOT Medical card is required, CDL preferred but not mandatory.
