Job Description
Automotive Service Cashier/Shop hand Vermont Quick Lube and Car Wash 679 South Barre Road, Barre, VT 05641 This job is based heavily on sales and customer service. That said there is some heavy lifting and light mechanic work involved as well. You would be working on the shop floor, interacting with every customer. You will be courteous, happy and good with people. You must be respectful, hard working and very flexible. You will inform the customer of any services they may need or anything on their vehicle that needs attention. You must be comfortable speaking with people! I will gladly substitute experience for a great attitude and hard work ethic. (must be able to lift 75 lbs) When we don’t have a customer in the shop you will assist in tire changes, oil changes, carwash maintenance and assisting the mechanics with their tasks as well. Work Remotely No Summary As an Automotive Service Cashier, you will be integral to delivering outstanding customer service and managing the service department’s financial transactions. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your core skills in customer service, automotive diagnostics, and service writing to assist customers with their vehicle maintenance needs. Your premium skills in upselling and dealership experience will enhance the customer experience, while your relevant knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance will ensure accurate service estimates. Be prepared for a physically demanding role that may involve heavy lifting as you contribute to our team’s success in a fast-paced environment.
