We are seeking an Engine Assembly Technician for a thriving space exploration company with experience building engines or other tight tolerance assemblies looking to further their career in the aerospace industry! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Precision assembly of rocket engine components: combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, avionics, test Root cause and diagnostic component disassembly, repair, and work Structural testing of components Support the design, procurement, installation, and integration of custom manufacturing and test equipment Define how to prepare hardware for test, qualification, and flight Identify, develop, and deploy new manufacturing methods (or refine existing) to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build schedule
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of aerospace or military experience Precision and tight tolerance assembly Extensive experience reading and understanding specifications and detailed work instructions
High School Diploma or Equivalent Bonus Qualifications:
Space, aerospace, aviation, or related industry experience
