REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited school or a degree in an applicable technical specialty.
10+ years’ experience in engineering design, fabrication, research, and/or testing of instrumentation sensors and data collection.
Experience in leading teams during technical design and providing strategic advice to project staff. Training less experienced engineers in technical skills, unit cohesion, and collaboration.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Experience in leading teams during technical design and providing strategic advice to project staff.
Training less experienced engineers in technical skills, unit cohesion, and collaboration.
Experience initiating and developing requirements for DoD project execution.
Ability to read and create electrical schematics.
Ability to create or modify Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) data streams.
Working knowledge of programming numerical systems and how to interface with, and record data from, military aviation platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a lead engineer in the field of airborne instrumentation systems integration for the U.S. Army Test & Evaluation Command, Redstone Test Center.
Train and mentor less experienced engineers, fostering professional growth and development.
Responsible for planning, execution, real-time data quality monitoring, data analysis, and reporting for developmental and/or operational tests of system integrations on various aviation weapon system platforms.
Analyze data and prepare detailed reports for developmental and operational tests. Document flight operations and contribute to flight test developments.
