King Air/C-12 Avionics Troubleshooter
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Troubleshooter with at least three (3) years of experience working on King Air and/or C-12 aircraft. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex avionics systems to ensure optimal aircraft performance. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting electrical and avionics systems, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of avionics systems, including communication, navigation, surveillance, and flight control systems on King Air / C-12 aircraft.
Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose system malfunctions and execute necessary repairs.
Conduct operational and functional tests to verify system performance and compliance with FAA and military standards.
Perform inspections, modifications, and upgrades to avionics and electrical systems as required.
Ensure all maintenance actions are documented accurately in compliance with FAA and company regulations.
Collaborate with maintenance teams and engineering personnel to resolve complex avionics issues.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Job Requirements:
3+ years of avionics troubleshooting experience on King Air and/or C-12 aircraft.
Strong understanding of Garmin, Collins, or Honeywell avionics systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with FAA regulations and military aviation standards.
Experience using avionics test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and flight line test sets.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
A&P or FCC license is a plus.
Previous experience working on military-modified C-12 aircraft.
Knowledge of
TCAS, ADS-B, WAAS
GPS, and autopilot systems.
Experience with software updates and programming avionics equipment.
