POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform installations, modifications, testing, and troubleshooting of avionics systems on CH-47 helicopters. You will ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety in compliance with FAA, OEM, and customer requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install and integrate avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and mission-specific equipment, on CH-47 helicopters. Perform system modifications, updates, and upgrades per technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications. Conduct functional and operational testing of installed systems to ensure proper performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics issues using schematics, test equipment, and diagnostic tools. Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to resolve complex technical challenges. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures during installations and modifications.
REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience in avionics installations and modifications. Helicopter experience is a plus, but it is not required. Strong understanding of avionics systems, including wiring, schematics, and electrical systems. Proficiency with avionics test equipment and tools. FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to pass a pre-employment standard DOT drug test and criminal background check. Proof of US Citizenship Valid US Driver’s License Reliable personal transportation/vehicle.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May work in hazardous working conditions, near flight lines; some assignments are within an uncontrolled climate facility. Must be able to see with corrective eye wear and hear clearly with assistance. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, or crouch. The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Expected to handle/manage hazardous materials/waste in accordance with regulatory and industrial standards. Wears/maintains personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, hearing, extremities, respiratory devices, protective shields and barriers as required PAY $30-34 hourly Split per diem to those that qualify OT time and a half Paid weekly after first week.

Monday – Friday 2 Shifts available (candidate should be open to both) 5:30 am start 2:30 pm start
