Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Cape Canaveral, FL. Interested? Here’s what you’d do: Avionics Technicians fabricate wire harnesses and cables used in electrical and electronic equipment systems for satellites and space system components for the International Space Station, Artemis, and Orion programs and commercial programs.
Technicians are also responsible for assembling satellite buses and subsystems, as well as the assembly of other complex electromechanical projects.
Measures, cuts, solderers, or crimps wire and contacts to fabricate a wire harness.
Reads instructions, such as work orders, diagrams, and wire lists, to determine materials needed and the assembly sequence.
Assembles cables, satellite buses, and electromechanical systems.
Performs potting of connectors to protect from water/dust intrusion.
Labels and packages cable harness assemblies for shipment.
Ad to all Quality Management Systems standards and procedures.
Treat all team members with respect and dignity, ensuring a continually developed and maintained collaborative culture.

$28 – $32/hr.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with “testing” electronics cabinets.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrical/cable fabrication technician or in the industry.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with wire crimping and connector soldering.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with engineering drawings, wire diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Preferred Skills /
Qualifications:
Associate Degree.

Electromechanical systems and assembly background.
IPC J-Std-001 or IPC-620 certification, NASA 8739.4 certified.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
