Job Summary:
We are hiring Avionics Technicians to perform heavy maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification of electrical and avionics systems on commercial and cargo aircraft at a high-paced MRO facility in Jacksonville, FL. This position is best suited for individuals with back shop or depot-level avionics experience, especially those who have worked in heavy maintenance environments. This is a long-term opportunity with steady work, a strong team atmosphere, and the ability to grow with one of the top aircraft maintenance providers in the region.
Compensation:
Pay range: $25.00-$35.00/hour depending on experience and interview performance Per diem split available for qualified travelers relocating or commuting
Must Haves:
MRO or depot-level experience in aircraft electrical and avionics systems Strong understanding of aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical troubleshooting procedures Proficient in use of multimeters, breakout boxes, wiring tools, and avionics testing equipment Ability to perform removal and installation of aircraft avionics components and wire harnesses Must be able to provide your own basic hand tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Nice to

Role:
Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and avionics systems in accordance with OEM and FAA standards Remove and replace aircraft electrical components, including LRUs, antennas, and wiring assemblies Perform system checks, continuity tests, and functional checks of avionics systems Interpret and work from electrical engineering drawings and service bulletins Maintain compliance with safety policies and ensure accuracy in all documentation and repairs
