Flightline Group employs over 40 aviation professionals at facilities in Tallahassee, FL (KTLH) and Vero Beach, FL (KVRB). We are looking to add an experienced Avionics technician to our team of dedicated aviation enthusiasts. We are an Authorized Service Center for Piper, Daher-Kodiak, and Cirrus, and are proud to offer exceptional support to the aviation community. Responsibilities Troubleshoots and repairs all avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft. Communicates with department manager or crew chief on any problems or repairs. Ensure all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector. Prepares various documents for record keeping purposes as required by company policies, FAA approved repair station and quality control manuals, all FAA regulations, OEM aircraft manufacturer manuals. Learns, understands and follows the company work order and parts requisition process as written. Maintains a clean, neat, and efficient work area. Repairs and calibrates shop equipment as assigned. Requirements Willingness to work on a team with both experienced technicians and mentor junior technicians with a calm demeanor. Ability to communicate well in straightforward situations. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Ability to analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, or procedural manuals. Excellent mechanical aptitude and a desire to work. Qualifications Experience in Avionics (Required). FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License (Preferred, but not Required). Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and guidelines related to aircraft maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for avionics systems. Must be able to pass airport background check and pre-employment drug test.
