POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking experienced full-time Avionics Technician to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida or Opa-Locka, Florida. An Avionics Technician is responsible for providing professional aircraft avionics maintenance and repairs while maintaining all appropriate safety and regulatory standards. Airframe and/or Powerplant license preferred with at least 6+ years of experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of RECENT avionics troubleshooting experience
  • Airframe license strongly preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting experience required, not seeking installers
  • Must have own set of basic tools.
  • Must be able to pass a preemployment drug/alcohol screening.
  • Fluently speak, read, and write English.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting avionics systems such as navigation, communication, and instrumentation.
  • Strong understanding of avionics regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to on-call situations as needed.
  • Willing to work 40 to 50 hours a week.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Knowledge of Corridor software is a plus.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on avionics systems of corporate and regional aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct inspections and functional tests to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Install, configure, and calibrate avionics equipment and components.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to address complex technical challenges.
  • Document maintenance activities and ensure accurate record-keeping of all work performed.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated with advancements in avionics technology and industry standards. PAY
  • Hourly pay is based off years of experience and ability to articulate one’s skillets
  • Split per diem available to those that qualify, while on contract
  • Benefits available while on contract, and if the candidate goes direct.
  • Time and ½ on OT after 40 hours
  • Paid weekly after first work week.
  • No PTO/paid holidays while on contract
IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Troubleshooting experience
  • Recent corporate experience is a plus Embraer 145/175, Citation, Challenger, etc.
  • Line Maintenance experience/Hangar experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
