POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking experienced full-time Avionics Technician to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida or Opa-Locka, Florida. An Avionics Technician is responsible for providing professional aircraft avionics maintenance and repairs while maintaining all appropriate safety and regulatory standards. Airframe and/or Powerplant license preferred with at least 6+ years of experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of RECENT avionics troubleshooting experience
- Airframe license strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting experience required, not seeking installers
- Must have own set of basic tools.
- Must be able to pass a preemployment drug/alcohol screening.
- Fluently speak, read, and write English.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting avionics systems such as navigation, communication, and instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of avionics regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to on-call situations as needed.
- Willing to work 40 to 50 hours a week.
- Be computer literate.
- Knowledge of Corridor software is a plus.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on avionics systems of corporate and regional aircraft.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct inspections and functional tests to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Install, configure, and calibrate avionics equipment and components.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to address complex technical challenges.
- Document maintenance activities and ensure accurate record-keeping of all work performed.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated with advancements in avionics technology and industry standards. PAY
- Hourly pay is based off years of experience and ability to articulate one’s skillets
- Split per diem available to those that qualify, while on contract
- Benefits available while on contract, and if the candidate goes direct.
- Time and ½ on OT after 40 hours
- Paid weekly after first work week.
- No PTO/paid holidays while on contract
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Troubleshooting experience
- Recent corporate experience is a plus Embraer 145/175, Citation, Challenger, etc.
- Line Maintenance experience/Hangar experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
