As an Avionics Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You’ll be responsible for basic installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components, and maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals. Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience A higher-level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education Ability to understand applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings Basic skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installation Experience with soldering and crimping techniques Current/valid passport and be able to obtain a Visa to travel international. Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations. Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations. Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required. An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
