Summary:
Seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician to provide technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft systems.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. Four years experience in avionics/electrical career field or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two years related experience. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Preferred Skills:
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license. FCC certification. NCATT certification. Proficiency in operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations and repairs.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise in testing aircraft systems. Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications. Ensure quality and efficiency of installations; troubleshoot processes for timely repairs. Repair or replace defective components using techniques like splicing, soldering, pinning wiring. Set up, operate test equipment; conduct functional/operational tests for performance evaluation. Test and maintain electronic systems/components; comply with safety regulations.
