Aircraft Services Team – Bell Piney Flats
Come join the Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Services team and help ensure best in class service to our customers. In this position, you’ll be an integral part of the Aircraft Customization team, performing a variety of avionics tasks and gaining valuable hands-on aviation experience.
What you’ll be doing as an Avionics Tech (Experienced) Second Shift
Build cables and wiring harnesses to print.
Modify items to meet Bell blueprint specifications.
Perform soldering and connector pinouts.
Build circuit breaker panel assemblies.
Perform other duties as assigned. Skills You Bring To this Role
Ability to work as a team member to ensure quality and timely completion of aircraft to meet schedule.
Strong attention to detail, and ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to progressively grow your expertise by learning and retaining new skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
Familiarity with wiring schematics and electrical principles.
Ability to build, route and clamp wire harnesses.
Ability to solder wires and connectors.
Experience with blueprints and wiring schematics.
Ability to purchase own tools required for the jobs assigned, and to work overtime as required.
We are looking for dedicated, driven employees with a passion for hands-on aviation work. What you need to be successful
2+ years of experience in avionics or electrical/electronic work related to job duties.
Additional skills and experience may qualify selected candidate for a higher level/pay grade.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Professional training or certificate in area related to job duties, such as soldering or electrostatic discharge training may be a plus.
Sheetmetal knowledge a plus.
Airframe & Powerplant Certificate a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands.
Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
