Generator Technician Position Available In Horry, South Carolina

Generator Technician Melton Power Systems 4777 Northgate Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of equipment types. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery to ensure it operates efficiently and safely. The Technician will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of generator systems (diesel, gas, and natural gas) Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Install, test, and commission new generator systems Respond to service calls and perform fieldwork as needed Maintain accurate records and service reports

Requirements:

2+ years of experience with generator systems (Cummins, Generac, Kohler, etc.) Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skill Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to work independently and handle emergency calls Certifications (preferred):

EGSA, OSHA

10/30, manufacturer-specific training
