We offer guests amazing outdoor experiences! Such as breathtaking mountain views via our MegaZip, Mountain biking trails ranging from Green to Double Black, and exhilarating UTV off-road tours! We are seeking a Mountain Bike Technician to maintain our rental fleet, assist with trail maintenance, and contribute to the overall success of our operation. This role will be pivotal in ensuring our guests have a memorable and safe adventure experience while visiting the property. Responsibilities Collaborate with the management team to ensure that all customer interactions meet or exceed expectations. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on both standard and E-mountain bikes to ensure they are safe and fully operational. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements of components, including drivetrains, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems for E-bikes. Assist customers in selecting and fitting mountain bikes according to their preferences, riding style, and physical characteristics. Provide guidance and instruction to customers on the features and operation of mountain bikes, ensuring they are comfortable and confident before riding. Assist Trail Crew with Trail Construction and Maintenance Support the trail crew in various tasks related to trail construction and maintenance, such as clearing debris, building features, and repairing trail surfaces. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure trails are well-maintained and safe for users. Conduct regular inspections of trails using bicycles, dirt bikes, or ATVs to identify any hazards, obstructions, or maintenance needs. Report findings to the appropriate personnel and assist in implementing necessary repairs or improvements. Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks on utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) to keep them in optimal working condition. Conduct inspections and address any issues to ensure UTVs are ready for use in trail operations. Flexibly adapt to additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the facility. Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic, with specific experience working on E-bikes preferred. Demonstrated customer service experience with a focus on delivering exceptional service. Passion for outdoor activities, particularly mountain biking, with a strong understanding of biking equipment and techniques. Willingness to work flexible hours, including closing shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Physical fitness and ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in outdoor conditions with temperature extremes. Physical Requirements Must be able to move about, climb, bend, twist, kneel, stoop, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to adjust to outside temperatures ranging from 0 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit with fluctuations in humidity.
