Building Maintenance Technician Hampton Inn Prattville, AL Prattville, AL The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors.
Compensation:
$14 – $15/hr
Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to support efficient operations. Address repair needs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and landscaping. Maintain mechanical areas and tools in a clean and orderly condition. Be available for emergency repairs and on-call support during evenings or weekends as needed. Inspect public areas daily to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. Proficiency with tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook). High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
