Building Maintenance Technician Hampton Inn — Foley, AL Foley, AL The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors.
Compensation:
$16 – $18 per hour
Responsibilities:
Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and with excellent service. Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry. Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed for urgent maintenance needs. Maintain mechanical areas and tools in a clean and orderly condition. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections.
Qualifications:
Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proficiency with tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook). High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
