We are searching for Maintenance Generalist’s who can take us to the next level. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across every area of our Facilities and influencepany performance by maintaining our equipment. Our Maintenance Generalist’s are vital to maintaining our Team Member’s safety through problem-solving and proactive upkeep. 1 year of industrial maintenance work experience and 6 months of work experience with 1 employer within the past 2 years listed on application.

Shift Schedule:

B Shift 4 Days on and 3 Days off 6 pm to 6 am

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment andpany assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

POSITION SUMMARY

Position is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs
• Perform preventing maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipment
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
• Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift
• Handle all mechanical problems that may arise
• Ensure work area is clean at all time
• Record keeping and attention to detail

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly during shift
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
• Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping
• Frequent overhead work
• Basic Math skills: percentages, fractions, and measurements
• Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable amodation.
