Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:
Perform mechanical and electrical failure diagnosis and repairs on advanced industrial equipment. Equipment types include complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, robotic, (Fanuc, ABB) variable frequency and DC drives programmable logic controllers (Siemens, Allen Bradley) computer controlled systems Perform preventative and predictive maintenance task ensuring equipment production readiness at all times. Communicate with co-workers and management personnel both verbally and written whereby information may be passed that is critical for production readiness. Respond to trouble calls in a timely manner eliminating unnecessary downtime. Find root cause of failures eliminating repeat failures for the same issue. Consistently look for and implement ways to improve equipment reliability. Robotic Electrical Troubleshooting Troubleshooting skills in Electrical and Automation systems Welding and mechanical skills a plus Must be able to work in a team environment. Education and/or
Experience Required:
Methods and principles of industrial building maintenance Principles of carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical work Principles of heating, ventilation and cooling systems Locksmith and building locking and security systems Occupational hazards and standard safety practices Read and interpret blueprints of the building Work with and monitor work of contractors
