Job Description

Maintenance Machine Technician – Pittman 3rd Shift MTNA Rainsville Plant 189 Rti Dr, Rainsville, AL 35986 Since 2000, MTNA Rainsville Plant has been proud to call Rainsville, Alabama home. Moriroku Technology North America in Rainsville, AL is searching for a Maintenance Technician to be responsible for operating and maintaining facility/grounds and injection molding machines and systems that are used in the production of automotive parts and components. This role involves ensuring the efficient and accurate molding of plastic parts and components used in various automotive systems. Below is a detailed description of the job duties, required skills, and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Machine Installation Assist in new equipment installation 2. Machine Setup and Calibration Assist in new equipment setup & calibration Support equipment relocation within the facility 3. Preventive Maintenance Maintain injection machines & related production equipment Maintain paint line equipment (RTO, Paint Pit, etc.) Inspect of HVAC, plumbing, air compressors, chillers, power distribution panels 4. Troubleshooting and Repairs Troubleshoot & make repairs on injection machinery & related production equipment Maintain facility and ground needs Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical issues Troubleshoot and repair paint line equipment – RTO, fire suppression system, paint pit, etc Maintain loading docks & related shipping equipment 5. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, maintenance repairs, and other maintenance activities, in accordance with ISO and IATF standards. Follow standard operating procedures for equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and documentation best practices. Utilize Microsoft suite software and general computing skills to assist in the documentation process. 6. Safety and Compliance Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating manufacturing machinery Operation of heavy equipment such as fork truck, scissor lift, robotics, overhead crane, electrical units etc. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet 5S ideologies Utilize fall arrest equipment to work at heights reaching and exceeding 40 feet 7. Communication Escalate production issues caused by equipment within the maintenance department, other impacted departments, and management as needed 8. Continuous Improvement Analyze production equipment to determine effective countermeasures to minimize downtime and eliminate repeat issues

Skills/Requirements:
Education:

High school diploma

Experience:

Strong electrical background (AC/DC) Hydraulic, pneumatic & HVAC understanding Injection machine troubleshooting Previous manufacturing experience is preferred

Technical Skills:

Operation of tools & equipment frequently used for repairs Mechanically inclined Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Physical Requirements:

Walking/standing for 8+ hours daily Repetitive motions (bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, lifting, etc.) Lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to work overtime as required
