CNC Maintenance Technician 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Tallassee, AL 36078 Prolink is hiring skilled CNC Maintenance Technicians for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift for its Tallassee, AL facility, supporting a major aerospace client. These are non-traveling roles focused on maintaining and repairing CNC machinery and associated production equipment. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role in a fast-paced, overtime-friendly environment .
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair CNC machinery and associated equipment (mechanical, electrical, and controls) Perform level and alignment checks, rebuild subassemblies, and replace components Troubleshoot electronic circuitry and servo systems to a moderate level Use drawings, blueprints, and manuals to guide repairs Support and mentor Level 1 technicians and preventive maintenance staff Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, hours, and expenses Communicate with customers, OEMs, and internal departments Autoclave repair experience preferred
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in machine tool and equipment maintenance Autoclave repair experience Associate degree in electronic engineering or equivalent experience preferred Ability to read/interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings Experience with CNC controls, troubleshooting processes, and fanuc control systems/siemens Certified to operate Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Boom Lift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work (bending, stooping, reaching) All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check as a condition of hire. #
