Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and equipment at our steel fabrication plant. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting production operations to meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, including presses, welders, and CNC equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to support steel fabrication processes. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and comply with safety regulations and plant protocols.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred. 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, ideally in steel fabrication or manufacturing. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems; knowledge of PLCs is a plus. Strong understanding of safety practices and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read technical schematics and use diagnostic tools.
