JOB Maintenance Technician Salary Schedule Placement:

E. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

In addition to adhering to the general guidelines as specified by the Faculty/Staff Handbook, the Dean of Students, and the President, and Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees, responsibilities will include the following:

• Maintain maintenance records on vehicles and other equipment. Wash and maintain the cleanliness of all college vehicles.
• Schedule regular maintenance for college vehicles.
• Perform maintenance on school buses, vehicles, and other equipment.
• Perform required state inspections on school buses.
• Assist maintenance department in problem solving.
• Assist Coordinator with the scheduling of in and out of town travel and arranging transportation for faculty, staff, and students for school functions.
• Assume responsibility on assigned committees.
• Work well with others and show respect to all college constituents.
• Perform other related duties as required by the Transportation Coordinator, Dean of Students, or the President.
