Location:
Union at Cooper Hill 1522 Cooper Hill Rd Birmingham, AL 35210
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 3 weeks
Responsibilities:
Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned Exterior structural maintenance as needed Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience Light plumbing and electrical experience HVAC experience and EPA Universal certification a plus CPO certification preferred Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers Assist in property grounds maintenance Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
